We should have went to San Pablo, Laguna to pay visit to my great-grandfather's tomb but, when we were almost at the C5 Interchange, we saw the long long of cars, meaning it was traffic. October 25, 2008; Eleven Minutes done, Twilight, you're next!
Today was a bookworm day for me as I read the entirety of the book entitled "Eleven Minutes" by Paulo Coelho. The 272 pages of it! The story evolved around the life of Maria, a twenty-three year old Brazilian girl who worked as a prostitute at a club called Copacabana located at the city of Geneva in Switzerland. It was a good read for me. Out of 10, I would rate it as a 7. So there. It is a love story, so be ready for heartbreaks and what nots. So there. The next book that I will lay my hands on is "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer, the first of a 4-book saga. It has 500 pages, so I should be ready for this! Tomorrow will be thy day! Haha! October 24, 2008; Conventions!
Today was a day for conventions. First up, me and my parents went to SM Mall of Asia Convention Center (SMX) for the Consumers Electronics Expo LIVE! But before that, we ate lunch at Tokyo Cafe, one of my fave restos around. The convention showcases the latest gadgets, or what we call "advancements in technology", such as the new iPod, iPhone 3G and Macbook from Apple, new phones from Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson, new cameras from Canon, Sony, Nikon and the like. So there. There was one moment which really made this day was the moment I turned around to check some of the gadgets and, out of nowhere, saw Lia Cruz! The pretty sportcaster which covers the PBA and some sports shows on TV. And man, I saw her, straight in the eyes! And I mean dead straight! The moment I saw her, I was like, I know this lady! Haha! She's rather prettier in person. So there :)The next convention we went to is at the nearby World Trade Center for the World of China expo. Checked out some stuff, even the Chery cars! The QQ is so cute! The automatic and manual version of it. The manual's stickshift was easy to shift, unlike other cars, and it can fit 5, which is a cool barkada or family car, due to the fact that it is so fuel efficient. It only has a 3-cylinder, 12-valve engine, so it can go for like 15-20 km/liter! :)And now, back to reality. October 23, 2008; Went everywhere!
Day started early. Woke up at around 5 am for my enrollment at around 8 am. Arrived at UST at around 7:30. Fell in line with the brotherhood (my friends). And because we were at the first row, we went earlier than the rest, and we finished quick! At around 8:20, we're finished enrolling ourselves! And by the way, nice schedule for us, morning classes everyday, 7 am onwards. Me and my friends got the same PE class, which was the usual thing. After the enrollment though, I had to leave because my parents needed to buy something. So we went to the place, it was at Mandaluyong. After which, we went to Greenhills just to stroll around, and also for me to get my copy of the book entitled "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer at Fully Booked. So there. After which, we ate lunch, and left. Went to Wilcon Home Depot because my dad needed something for his work. After some time there, we eventually went home. Once we arrived home, I took hold of my PSP and played NBA Live 09, Madden NFL 09 and FIFA 09 on a indefinite amount of time. After which, I watched a little TV, ate dinner with my parents, took a shower, and now, here I am, typing each and every word that comprises my day. So there. October 20, 2008; It's the Rays!
I started my day playing the new games I have for my PSP. And just minutes into it, I got addicted! NBA Live is spectacular! FIFA 09 is mind-boggling and Madden 09 was thrilling! These 3 games probably has the distinction of having the best graphics for a PSP game. So there!A while ago, we (my parents) did some home improvement as we built another shoerack from scratch. We finished it at around 6 pm. October 19, 2008; Home Improvement! 10!
I woke up at around 8 am today, therefore, I wasn't able to play basketball! I will try to make it up next weekend! I will sleep earlier on Friday and Saturday so that I would be able to play!Yesterday, I helped my parents build the shoerack right from the box. I was kinda easy to do, even without the help of the manual, because it was just like a puzzle. A little hammering here and there, and voula (pronounced as vwu-a-la), the shoebox was built. Tomorrow, we will build the other shoebox we bought a while ago from MegaMall, so it will be another tasky day!The usual day for me. Ate breakfast, soundtrip with my 'Pod, watched TV, ate lunch, slept a little, woke up, took a bath, went to SM MegaMall at around 4 pm to buy some stuff for home improvement and some last sale shopping. Haha! I bought 3 games for my PSP! NBA Live 09, Madden NFL 09 and FIFA 09! And damn it was worth it! The graphics were amazing, and so as the gameplay! I recommend these games especially to those sports junkies like yours truly! So there!
