November 12, 2008; Bombarded!

We're just on our second week on to the semester, but we are already bombarderd with quizzes and assignments every single day. A day won't pass without passing any homework or dealing with a 20 or more items of quiz. The schedule does help us to cope up with this, because most of the time, our class is just half-day, from 7-1 or 7-12, and at the most, 7 am to 5 pm on Mondays. So there. It's OK for me because this would encourage me to study more. I hope it will produce good things for me.

And also on our PE class, we watched a video about Handball. And there I realized that it's a good sport to play! Pretty much like a combination of soccer and basketball, but more intense! Fouls are unlimited. And once you are given a red card, of course you will be out of the game, but the good thing is, after 2 minutes, you may re-join the game! That's the good part about it! Looking forward for the group games! Our team (Royal Blue color, or Ateneo's color), will try our best to win all the games! Haha!

And now, here are the latest from the NBA! :)

It will be staged at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. It will be shown LIVE on Balls Channel 33 on Sky Cable at 11:00 am. November 8, 2008; I can manage!

Me and my parents went to Mall of Asia yesterday to watch Quantum of Solace. My review of the said movie is on my reviews page. It was a good movie to say the least. Another quality movie. The film was shown November 5 here in the RP, 9 days ahead of the US screening, which is November 14.

Change has come to America indeed, as the elections drew to a close, Democratic candidate Sen. Barack Obama was proclaimed the 44th President of the United States. He also made history as the first African-American president of the said country. He garnered 338 electoral votes, as compared to 156 by Republican candidate Sen. John McCain. And by virtue of winning the presidency, the vice-president will automatically be the running mate to Sen. Obama, who is Sen. Joseph Biden. The inauguration of Sen. Obama as president will be on January 9, 2009.

First week of classes is done. We've met most of our professor, and as it turns out, they are good. Some of which were our professors last semester, which makes things easier I guess. So there.

And now, here are the latest from the world of sports!

Yesterday, me and my parents went to Bataan to visit my mom's parents and other relatives. We left home at around 10 AM and we arrived there at around noontime. Chit chat with everybody, watched TV, ate snacks and dinner. Then, we left at around 7 pm. My cousin was with us on the way home to go back to his dormitory along Dapitan. So there.
