May 30, 2007; Ms. Japan is the new Miss Universe!
Yesterday, the 56th annual Miss Universe beauty pageant was held at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, Mexico. Lots of controversy filled the pageant, like the blunders and boos from the crowd pertained to Miss USA, Rachel Smith. It is because of the policies that US is bringing up nowadays which affects the Mexicans per ce. She even slipped during the evening gown presentation, but went up and continued to ramp on. The winner of the pageant yesterday was Miss Japan, Riyo Mori, a 20-year old dancer who really loves to perform since she was a child. Miss Philippines Anna Theresa Licaros didn't make the top 15 but never went home empty-handed, because she won the Miss Photogenic award, making her the 7th Filipina to win the award, which is the most in the pageant's history.
May 25, 2007; Pumasok na mga Lasalista. Mga taga-Benilde, sa Monday na. Pero UST, 2 weeks pa! Haha!
Nung Wednesday, nakuha ko na uniform ko sa UST. Gusto ko na suotin! Excited! Haha! And the same day, pasukan na ng La Salle. Sa Monday naman, ang CSB naman ang magsisimula ng kanilang school year. Sa June 13 pa ang start ng classes for UP, ADMU, and UST. And nung Wednesday, napanood ko na rin ang "Pirates of the Carribean 3: At World's End". Maganda naman ung movie, maganda ang naging part ni Chow Yun Fat dun. Overall, i will give that movie 4.5 stars over 5. And sa NBA, the Conference Finals started with a bang. With Detroit and San Antonio leading their series' against Cleveland and Utah, respectively, 2 games to none. Rasheed Wallace sunk a jumper with 24.3 seconds left in the 4th quarter, to eventually win the game against Cleveland, 79-76. Game 3 of the West Finals between San Antonio and Utah will be tomorrow morning live on Baskeetball TV.
