May 7, 2010 (Part 1); Big game from the stars of the Magic

I had my first duty as a MedTech intern last May 5th at 4:00 PM, which ended the next day at 8:00 AM. It was a fun experience with my co-interns and the staff at the Amang Rodriguez Medical Center in Marikina. Receiving, warding and working inside the laboratory in the Hematology section was a good learning experience for me :)

I will be on duty again tomorrow at 7:00 AM :)

And now, back to the news!

The Orlando Magic has seized control of their Eastern Conference SemiFinal showdown with the Atlanta Hawks as they blew the game open with a 112-98 scoreline.

Five players scored in double figures for the Magic, who now hold a 2-0 series lead against the mighty Hawks. They were led by Dwight Howard with 29 points, along with 17 rebounds. Vince Carter had 24 points. Rashard Lewis and Jameer Nelson both had 20, while Mickael Pietrus had 13 for the game.

The Hawks on the other hand were led by Al Horford with 24 points, while Jamal Crawford had 23 points off the bench.

Game 3 of the series will be played on Sunday at 5:00 AM Manila time from the Philips Arena in Atlanta.

The Cavs-Celtics series will resume tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM from Boston, followed by the Suns-Spurs series at 9:30 AM from San Antonio.

The series between Cleveland and Boston is tied at a game a piece, while Phoenix holds the 2-0 series lead against San Antonio :)

So there you have it! You guys have just been fed!
