April 7, 2010 (Part 1); Wiz' deny Nellie of milestone

This morning, Golden State Warriors' head coach Don Nelson was denied by the Washington Wizards on pursuing his dream of being the all-time winningest coach in NBA as his team was crushed via 112-94 scoreline.

He is now tied with Lenny Wilkens with 1,322 career wins.

The Wizards were led by Nick Young who finished with 29 points, along with 4 rebounds and 2 steals. JaVale McGee came off the bench and had a career game, with 25 points and 15 rebounds, while big man Andray Blatche posted 21 points and 6 rebounds.

But the main difference of the ballgame was Shaun Livingston, the newly acquired point guard of the Wizards who controlled the team all throughout the game, finishing with 21 points, along with 5 rebounds and 8 assists.

The undermanned Warriors were led by Stephen Curry with 27 points, together with 4 assists and 2 steals. Corey Maggette finished the game with 20 points. Reggie Williams had 18, while Anthony Morrow finished with 17.

Not with the team were Monta Ellis and Ronnie Turiaf (flu), Vladimir Radmanovic (sore right achilles), Anthony Randolph (sprained left knee).

Kelanna Azubuike, Antoine Wright and Andris Biedrins are still on the inactive list for the Warriors.
