April 18, 2010 (Part 2); Hawks nails shorthanded Bucks in Game 1
The loss of Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut was really costly for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Atlanta Hawks exploited the undermanned Bucks as they won in Game 1, 102-92.
As expected, the core group of the Hawks performed like a well-oiled machine on their homefloor.
They were led by Joe Johnson who had 22 points along with 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. Mike Bibby had 19 points, Al Horford had 15, while Josh Smith and Marvin Williams both had 12 points.
My chosen X-Factor for the series, Jamal Crawford, had a wonderful game, scoring 17 points off the bench, along with 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
The Bucks on the other hand were led by rookie Brandon Jennings, who had 34 points in his playoff debut. John Salmons only had 16 points, while Ersan Ilyasova had 11 points, as they were the only guys who scored in double figures for the Bucks.
If the Bucks wants to move on to the next round, all their players should do their part by scoring some mofre points and hounding the players of the opposing team.
John Salmons should wake up, Carlos Delfino should play his game, all of them, plain and simple.
Game 2 of this series will be on Wednesday.
