September 29, 2009 (Part 1); Time to do our part
Metro Manila and the Rizal province, specifically Marikina, Pasig and Cainta, the most devastated areas by typhoon Ondoy last Saturday night, are now on the verge of recuperating from the devastation left by that huge force of Mother Nature.
People are now starting to pile up donation centers and drop-off points to volunteer, a very noble act indeed, truly and simply Filipino.
And I must agree to a statement which I have read a while ago that in the whole world, only Filipinos are the ones who would still find a way to smile, amidst all the things, just like what happened during the weekend, would pass their lives.
And, if you guys have plans to volunteer and you don't know where to go, here is the website on which you could see where you are badly needed at this very moment.
