September 19, 2009 (Part 3); UST's Teng bags ROY award
Another one for UST indeed.
UST's prized rookie, Jeric Teng bags this season's Rookie of the Year plum, by posting 40.9 statistical points, way ahead of University of the Philippines guard Mikee Reyes' 22.1 SPs.
This award followed the MVP trophy, which was awarded to Dylan Ababou, also from UST.
The Growling Tigers may have just barely made it to the Final Four this year on a losing record (6-8), but they are surely making marks on the individual awards. Would this mean another championship for the Espana-based campus? Let's all find out!
Meanwhile, MVP Ababou, is joined by FEU's Aldrech Ramos, last year's MVP Rabeh Al-Hussaini from ADMU, and the duo of Elmer Espiritu and Paul Lee from UE in the Mythical Five selection for the 72th season of the UAAP.
Would this awards given to Ababou and Teng would fuel their quest on beating Ateneo tomorrow and for another time to reach the championship? Let's see tomorrow at 3:30 PM as they start their semifinal series!
So there you have it! You guys have just been fed!
God bless you guys! Stay safe! Peace out! The Wizard was here... :)
Comments, questions and suggestions are highly appreciated! :)
