September 19, 2009 (Part 2); UE fights for another day!
Paul Lee did a Kobe Bryant-like performance this afternoon by scoring 16 points in the second half en route to 26 points, along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists as his UE Red Warriors defeated the FEU Tamaraws, 84-74, in their Final Four series, forcing a decider on Thursday as FEU holds a twice-to-beat advantage by finishing in the top 2.
The Tamaraws played without star guard Andy Barroca, who will no longer play for the Tamaraws side because of his commitment to the Smart Gilas-RP developmental team, as said by FEU officials.
Some say that it was due to an alleged "game-fixing" issues which led to this decision by the FEU officials led by their president Anton Montinola and the tournament director Mark Molina, but somehow, it wasn't.
