Due to these circumstances, a deciding Game 3 will be played on June 14, 10 days away from now, for the league to give way to the Powerade-Team Pilipinas as they will compete in the upcoming Southeast Asian Basketball Association (SEABA) championships in Medan, Indonesia from June 6-10.

The winner of the Rain or Shine-Purefoods series will face Brgy. Ginebra in the semi-final round, while the winner of the Sta. Lucia-Burger King series will face San Miguel in the best-of-seven affair.
