And in boxing news, the official weigh-in of "The Battle of East and West" was staged a while ago at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Many people from different parts of the world, especially British and Filipino people, flocked the arena in much anticipation.
Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton tipped the scales at the light welterweight limit of 140 lbs., but had a difficult time obtaining the weight, because he was seen running before the actual weigh-in, only to catch the weight limit.
Our very own Manny "The Pacman" Pacquiao tipped the scales at 138 lbs., two pounds clear of the limit.
It's now high time for both fighters as they rehydrate themselves, because in just hours, their megafight will start.
And a big announcement was made. "The Pretty Boy" will be back!
Yes, you heard that right, Floyf Mayweather, Jr. will be back in boxing to face lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez in July 28.
His father, Floyd Sr., has told the press that he saw his son in the gym practicing, hinting his comeback.
He would be a viable candidate as the next opponent of the winner of the Pacquiao-Hatton fight tomorrow.
So there you have it! You guys have just been fed!
Hope you had a nice day!
God bless you guys! Stay safe! Peace out! The Wizard was here... :)
