May 13, 2009 (Part 1); Two songs for each Idol this week

Here are the songs that the final three sung this morning, which will be shown "Via Satellite" on QTV and Star World at 6 pm. One song is the judge's choice while the other is their own personal choice.

1. Kris Allen- "Apologize" by OneRepublic (Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi's choice) & "Heartless" by Kanye West

2. Danny Gokey- "Dance Little Sister" by Terence Trent D'Arby (Paula Abdul's choice) & "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker

3. Adam Lambert- "One" by U2 (Simon Cowell's choice) & "Cryin'" by Aerosmith

And in other news, the NBA has announced this morning that Danny Granger of the Indiana Pacers is this year's KIA Most Improved Player.

He edged New Jersey Nets' guard Devin Harris, 364-339 in voting from a panel of 121 journalists. Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant finished in third with 83 points.

He improved his scoring average by at least five points in each of the past three seasons. He averaged 7.5 ppg as a rookie out of New Mexico, 13.9 ppg in his second season, 19.6 in his third season, and a whopping 25.8 ppg this season, the fifth best in the league.
