May 12, 2009 (Part 3); Cavs end Hawks' misery, sweeps series
The Cavs are doing pretty good in this playoffs so far.
They're on a roll. First sweeping the Detroit Pistons, and now, for the second consecutive series, they have swept the Atlanta Hawks, beating them 84-74 in Game 4 this morning.
They did it even though LeBron James had difficulty in scoring the buckets. What he did? He passed the ball to his reliable teammates, a thing he should've done during the past years for them to have been contenders ever since.
They will now have the luxury of resting for a while, because their opponent for the next round is still unknown. The Boston-Orlando series is still ongoing, with the series tied at 2.
The Hawks on the other hand, have the entire summer to rest their players who are not 100% for this series. Joe Johnson, Al Horford and Marvin Williams were all hobbled by injuries. Lucky for the Cavs, 'cause if they were lucky, I'm sure the Cavs won't have an easy time around these young and talented Hawks team.
LeBron James still led the Cavs even on an off night, finishing with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Delonte West added 21 points and 8 assists. Zydrunas Ilgauskas had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Mo Williams capped off with 12 points and 5 assists.
The Hawks on the other hand were led by "J-Smooth" Josh Smith with 26 points and 8 rebounds. Joe Johnson finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, while Flip Murray provided the spark off the bench, with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
The Hawks are done, the Cavs are moving on to the next round to face the winner of the Boston-Orlando series.
There you have it! You guys have just been fed!
