The win marks the sixth straight for the Brgy. Ginebra Kings. They are now tied for second place with Purefoods, Burger King and Rain or Shine at identical 7-5 win-loss slate. The San Miguel Beermen on the other hand will wait a little more longer for them to have the outright semis berth, since they lost to Burger King last night. They need 10 wins for that outright berth. And now, here are the games on Wednesday!

The win made Manchester United the leaders of the Premier League once more at 83 points, 3 points clear and with a game on hand against second-place Liverpool. Meanwhile, the win for Chelsea secures them the third-place in the Barclays Premier League.
