May 6, 2008; The Power!

I had another basketball game yesterday here in our village. Unfortunately, we lost by only one point yet again, 74-73. One reason why we lost is because of the bad calls made by the referees. That maybe cost the game for us. Our next game will be on Friday. And I hope fortunes will turn and we could win the game.

I joined my parents today on going to some of my dad's clients. Of course another busy day but it's all good. After which, we went to Sta. Lucia to play billiards, and fortunately enough, I was able to win most of the racks against my dad. Maybe he's just tired and all. Haha! So there!

And now, the results of today's playoff games!

First up, Game 2 between the Orlando Magic and the Detroit Pistons, wherein we saw the Pistons winning it, 100-93, for them to grab the 2-0 lead of the series. Chauncey Billups led the Pistons with 28 points and 5 rebounds, while Tayshaun Prince had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Magic however, were led by Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson, who had 22 points each. The series will shift to Orlando as Game 3 will be played there on Thursday.

And finally, Game 2 between the San Antonio Spurs and the New Orleans Hornets, wherein the unlikely domination of the Hornets was seen thus the victory, 102-84. MVP candidate Chris Paul had a huge night with 30 points and 12 assists for the Hornets, who now lead the series 2 games to none, while David West added 25 points and 6 rebounds. The Spurs on the other hand were led by Tim Duncan with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Game 3 will be played on Friday at San Antonio.
