May 1, 2008; Labor Day Holiday! American Idol results that are not yet seen on TV! (SPOILER!)

Today is the Labor Day holiday! It is celebrated by everyone around the world. This is the day dedicated for the workingclassman who are the one's responsible for the businesses of many people. Also, since it is a holiday, many people don't have work and don't have classes. So, expect heavy traffic on main thoroughfares of the Metro, especially on malls, because many of the malls are having their SALE this weekend.

Yesterday, since our WOW Magic Sing microphone isn't working (it can't be turned on), we went to the service station at Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati City for it to be fixed. The only problem was the chip inside the microphone which was not working properly. It was fixed so fast, but the charge was P1,000! At first thought, we should have just bought a new one, because the charge was so high, I only thought that was just around P300 or something. So there.

After that, we went to Robinson's Galeria. We ate dinner at Magoo's Pizza! the best pizza ever! Then, me and my dad went billiards on Paeng's Skybowl and Billiards, while my mom is watching. For some reasons, I only won 3 racks out of 10 to my dad. He is still good even though the last time we played it was last 3 months. Then, after which, we went to the Adidas shop, I was going to buy the 2007-08 Alternate Black and Gold jersey of Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards. But instead, my dad insisted for us to go to Nike Park and he got the Air Jordan XX3! I never expected that move! So there, now I have it! The shoe itself is a product of hardwork. And by far, it is the shoe which took more time to make than any of the Air Jordan's combined. By far, they say, that it IS the best basketball shoe ever made. After that, we went home already. And since our Magic Sing was fixed, we had a Magic Sing-a-thon all the way 'til 11:30 in the evening. Then, just watched TV until we were sleepy. I slept at around 12:30 a.m.

And now that I'm here again, I will bring you guys the complete results of today's games from the 2008 NBA Playoffs! Here it is!

First up, Game 5 between the Washington Wizards and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Before tip-off, Gilbert Arenas, a player of the Washington Wizards, announced that he will not play a game for this playoffs, regardless whether or not the Wizards make it all the way. He bowed out because of a bone bruise and a poor perfromance on this playoffs. He also said that instead of him blocking the success of the Wizards, he will just step out of the way, and for him to rest his knee more for the next season. But nevertheless, the Wizars won Game 5 via the lay-up of Caron Butler with 3.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter, 88-87. Caron Butler led the way for the Wizards with 32 pts, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. While for the Cavs, LeBron James poured in 34 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Game 6 will be played at Washington on Saturday. The Cavs lead it, 3-2.

And finally, Game 5 between the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics. Wherein the Celtics won and took the 3-2 lead in their series, 110-85. They were led by Paul Pierce with 22 points and 7 rebounds. While Kevin Garnett added 20 points and 5 rebounds. While for the Hawks, who are now facing elimination, were led by Joe Johnson with 21 points and 3 rebounds. Game 6 will be at Atlanta on Saturday.

And for the American Idol results! Brooke White was the latest contestant to be eliminated in the 7th season of American Idol. Simon Cowell said that her performance was a "nightmare". She sang 2 songs of Neil Diamond, this week's featured artist, "I Am A Believer" and "I Am...I Said". Syesha Mercado, again was a part of the bottom 2 this week, but was saved by her fans.
