In the NBA, the Washington Wizards swept its season series with the Boston Celtics by beating them today, 109-95, much to the delight of the Verizon Center crowd. Antawn Jamison led the Wizards with 27 points and 11 rebounds while Gilbert Arenas scored 13 points off the bench. The Celtics were led by Paul Pierce with 28 points and 7 dishes, while MVP candidate Kevin Garnett scored 22 points and grabed 15 rebounds.
