Not too fancy!
I would like to start this post with the result of yesterday's Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The Dallas Mavericks came from behind to defeat the Miami Heat, 90-80, and to draw first blood in their best-of-seven series, now leading 1-0. "The Jet" Jason Terry scored 32 points, with that are key three pointers in the second half to start their run and to lead the game. And for the Heat, "The Flash" Dwyane Wade scored 28 points in a losing effort. At first, Wade was unstoppable, but the good defense of Jerry Stackhouse and Devin Harris forced him to pass the ball the his other teammates. The second game of the series will be tomorrow morning at 9:00 am, simulcast on Solar Sports and RPN 9. If you want commentary from Mike Breen and Hubie Brown, watch it on Solar Sports because they show the English broadcast. But if your much into the Filipino broadcast, you better tune in to RPN 9 because you can hear Vitto Lazatin and "The Dean" Quinito Henson live @ the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and up to the end of the Finals series.
Today, I woke up at 8:20 in the morning because I should have went to UP Diliman to get my application form for the UPCAT this coming August. But, we called up UP, there's no one answering the phone. Later on, we found out that UP is closed for Saturdays. So, I just went to my dentist because I have my monthly check-up (because of my braces, and 6 months left before my braces will be removed, yay! After the braces, in comes Mr. Retainer). After the check-up, returned here in our house. I watched TV. I ate lunch. Then watched TV once more, then now, internet. Later on, I will watch TV again. Just another bum day. 63 hours left on the summer vacation, and I'm heck excited to go back to school for this school year. For this is my final year as a high school student. And next year will embark a new step in my student life, as a college student.
Tomorrow, I don't really know what will I do. Maybe another "family day" (go out with my parents). Hope it won't be a bum day. And I hope that the remaining hours of this summer vacation will be as good as the first two and a half months of it.
